The Curtis and Elizabeth Anderson Cancer Institute (ACI) at Memorial Health University Medical Center is proud to sponsor a relaxing, fun-filled retreat for our survivors (people who have been diagnosed with cancer) and their families. Our 13th annual Harvest of Hope Retreat will take place on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at the Historic Grayson Stadium in Daffin Park where the Sand Gnats play . It is free of charge and is open to adults, adolescents, and children with cancer and four of their immediate family members.
This year’s retreat will include fun-filled activities including a field day, kick ball game, scavenger hunt around the stadium, bouncy houses for the kids, a catered lunch, and a celebration of life.
We supply lunch; however, if you or any of your guests require special dietary supplements, you must supply those on your own. There will be no transportation for guests to the event at the Staduium. Grayson Stadium is located on the city bus line.
Space is limited to the first 150 people and reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Also note that this is a smoke-free and alcohol-free event. Smoking or consuming alcohol may result in you or your family being asked to leave.
