• Chocolate Truffles with Good Fats and Antioxidants


    • 1 ripe avocado
    • 3/4 cup 70-percent dark chocolate chips
    • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
    • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • Cocoa powder, nuts, or coconut

    Melt chocolate over a double boiler. Mash avocado and stir into melted chocolate, making sure to smooth out any lumps. Refrigerate mixture for at least 30 minutes. Use a small cookie scoop to roll into balls. Coat in cocoa powder, coconut, or topping of choice.
