Designation Cancer Care - Messages from Maggie Gill Memorial

I hope you can join us for a special event at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 1. That’s when generous donors Curtis and Elizabeth Anderson, the namesake for our Anderson Cancer Institute, will help us launch an exciting new capital campaign called Destination Cancer Care.

The Andersons and the Memorial Health Foundation will kick off the campaign with a $1-million matching gift announcement. This campaign supports several important initiatives:

    • Cancer-fighting technology, such as our da Vinci robotic surgery system and our intraoperative radiation therapy technology.
    • Cancer research done in partnership with scientists at Mercer University School of Medicine’s Savannah campus.
    • Patient assistance programs, including integrative services such as yoga, strength training, and support groups.

We are proud to offer these leading-edge services right here in Savannah. But we need your help to ensure that we are a destination for world-class care for generations to come. I look forward to seeing you on Thursday, December 1, at 11 a.m., in front of the Anderson Cancer Institute’s main entrance on the Memorial Health campus, 4700 Waters Avenue, Savannah.
