Memorial Health University Physicians -- Center for Breast Care is the first and only practice in the region with two board-certified surgeons dedicated solely to women's breast health. We provide more specialized care, more high-tech treatment options, and more of what matters to families coping with breast cancer.
This unique facility was created by surgeons Ray Rudolph, M.D., and Paula DeNitto, M.D. They work closely with the Breast Imaging Center and the Curtis and Elizabeth Anderson Cancer Institute at Memorial University Medical Center.
The team at Memorial Health University Physicians -- Center for Breast Care strives to combine the most advanced medicine and technology with an atmosphere of caring, compassion, and respect for women.
We offer the following services:
- Evaluation, treatment, and second opinions for breast abnormalities and cancer
diagnoses.
- Breast ultrasound, ultrasound-guided cyst aspirations and core needle
biopsies.
- Stereotactic breast biopsies.
- Placement of the MammoSite radiation therapy device.
- Evaluation of patients at high risk for breast cancer, including genetic
counseling.
- Participation in clinical trials for breast cancer prevention and treatment.
The team at the Center for Breast Care is conscious of the fact that optimal healing requires a balance of physical, mental, and spiritual health. When you are sick, you expect and deserve compassion and communication. We will strive to meet your expectations in every way.
The breast care services at the Anderson Cancer Institute at Memorial University Medical Center are accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers, a program of the American College of Surgeons.
