  • Laurie Mulgrew, MSM-HCA

    Vice President, Heart and Vascular Services

    Laurie Mulgrew became vice president of heart and vascular services at Memorial Health in 2016. She oversees both inpatient and outpatient services within our Heart & Vascular Institute, including our specialty cardiac programs and the clinical services of invasive cardiology, non-invasive cardiology, vascular surgery, interventional radiology, and cardiac surgery.

    Prior to joining Memorial Health, Mulgrew spent 15 years working for Southcoast Health and Southcoast Hospitals Group in southeastern Massachusetts. She served as vice president of clinical services for cardiovascular and surgical care centers across three hospitals. While at Southcoast, Mulgrew developed clinical programs for numerous sub-specialty service lines, recruited physicians, and expanded services in the region to meet the community’s needs.

    Mulgrew is a certified radiologic technologist with specialty certifications in invasive cardiology, special procedures radiology, and mammography. She began her career as a cardiac cath lab technologist in Providence, Rhode Island. She later became a radiology imaging services director for a women’s specialty hospital and then a cardiac and surgical services director and vice president in a community hospital healthcare system.

    She earned a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration from Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island, and a Master of Science degree in management and healthcare administration from New England College in Henniker, New Hampshire. Mulgrew is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
