    Vice President, Chief Information Officer

    Bob Tynan came to Memorial University Medical Center (MUMC) in 2011 as vice president of finance. He was later named vice president and chief information officer (CIO). Tynan oversees MUMC's information technology and telecommunication services and systems.

    Previously Tynan was a senior financial consultant in the Atlanta practice of Tatum LLC. His 35-year career included serving as the chief accounting officer and integration controller for several large healthcare systems. He also served as the vice president of finance and corporate controller of public and emerging-growth companies in the leasing, architecture, and computer software segments. Throughout his career, Tynan has partnered with information technology providers in building many successful system solutions/implementations.

    Tynan is a graduate of Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, where he majored in finance. He has also successfully completed a variety of courses in management, negotiating, and leadership.
