Viva Las Vegas 2005 Raises Funds to Fight Cancer

(April 6) - Viva Las Vegas, a Vegas-style casino night fundraiser to benefit the Curtis and Elizabeth Anderson Cancer Institute (ACI)* at Memorial Health University Medical Center, will be held on Saturday, April 9, at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center. The fourth annual fundraiser will include casino games, dinner, and a Vegas-style tribute show featuring the 1970s soul sensation, The Spinners. Funds raised from the charity extravaganza will go toward the purchase of state-of-the-art equipment, support for patient programs, and cancer research. Viva Las Vegas is organized by the White Dove Committee, a volunteer group dedicated to raising funds for the ACI.
