Viva Las Vegas 2006 Raises Funds for Cancer

(April 4) - Viva Las Vegas, a Vegas-style casino night fundraiser to benefit the Curtis and Elizabeth Anderson Cancer Institute (ACI)* at Memorial Health University Medical Center, will be held on Saturday, April 8, at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center. The fifth annual fundraiser will include casino games, dinner, and musical entertainment by "Bjorn Again," a group that impersonates the Swedish pop band ABBA. Funds raised from the charity extravaganza will go toward the purchase of state-of-the-art equipment, support for patient programs, and cancer research. Viva Las Vegas is organized by the White Dove Committee, a volunteer group dedicated to raising funds for the ACI. The evening will be packed with fun and entertainment, including a bona fide Las Vegas casino featuring black jack, roulette, and dice. For more information on Viva Las Vegas, please call 350-6370.
