William Bromberg, M.D., Appointed to EAST Committee

(January 28, 2006) - William Bromberg, M.D., has been appointed to the Practice Management Guidelines Committee of the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma (EAST). Bromberg, a general/trauma surgeon at Memorial Health University Physicians -- Savannah Surgical Group, and assistant professor, Department of Surgery, Mercer University School of Medicine, will participate in the ongoing development of evidence-based medicine and practice guidelines in the field of trauma. The Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma is a not-for-profit organization that provides information for leadership and fosters advances in the care of injured patients. The organization is dedicated to the study of trauma surgery and establishes lectureships, scholarships, and foundations to promote, reward, and recognize individuals working in the field of injury and injury control. Memorial Health is a two-state healthcare organization serving a 35-county area in southeast Georgia and southern South Carolina.
