IHOP Restaurants Give Away Pancakes to Benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals

(February 24, 2011) - Enjoy a free short stack of IHOP's famous buttermilk pancakes on March 1, when National Pancake Day returns for its sixth year. From 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. at IHOP restaurants across the country, customers can enjoy a free short stack of pancakes and in return, make a donation to IHOP's national charity partner, Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. This charity helps improve the lives of children at 170 network hospitals nationwide. All of the funds raised locally will benefit The Children's Hospital at Memorial University Medical Center.

With more than 1,500 restaurants participating in National Pancake Day, IHOP hopes to raise $2.3 million for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and other local charities. For more information on this worthwhile campaign or to find an IHOP near you, please visit www.ihoppancakeday.com.
