(April 17, 2013) - The Memorial Health Foundation Board of Trustees confirmed three new members at its February meeting: Kathie Harlander, Linda Moore, and Rick Muller.
"We are very excited to welcome these new members to the Foundation board," said Jackie Rabinowitz, chair of the Memorial Health Foundation Board of Trustees. "All three are leaders in the community and will contribute important skills and guidance to our board. Together, we will help Memorial acquire the financial resources it needs to care for the people in our region."
Kathie Harlander is past president of America's Second Harvest Food Bank and was on the board of Coastal Georgia Nature Conservancy. She has helped with various events hosted by the Memorial Health Foundation.
Linda Moore was the director of legal affairs for the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and University Specialty Clinics. She has held board positions with Palmetto Health Children's Hospital and Blue Cross/Blue Shield of South Carolina.
Rick Muller is president of Chatham Capital. He has served in numerous volunteer positions at Savannah Country Day School, including serving as treasurer and member of the board of trustees.
The Memorial Health Foundation is a nonprofit organization authorized to receive financial gifts for Memorial University Medical Center and its affiliates. The Foundation's Board of Trustees helps ensure that Memorial has the resources necessary to provide world-class healthcare programs for the community. To achieve its mission, the Foundation works to build relationships with business and individuals throughout the region.
