Memorial Health, AppleCare Announce Urgent Care Partnership

(September 30, 2014) – Memorial Health and AppleCare have formed a strategic partnership for an immediate care center. The two organizations will collaborate to manage and operate Memorial’s urgent care and occupational health location at Savannah Mall. The office, which was closed last week for renovations, reopened today as Memorial Health | AppleCare Urgent Care.

Memorial Health patients will continue to receive the great care they are accustomed to at the Savannah Mall location while benefiting from AppleCare’s sole focus and expertise in delivering accessible, affordable, quality care in urgent-care settings.

AppleCare delivers non-appointment-based healthcare for immediate care, primary care, and occupational health patients. The company currently operates 12 urgent care centers and is expanding across south and middle Georgia. AppleCare sees patients who need immediate attention for non-life-threatening illnesses or injuries, such as colds and flu, minor sprains and lacerations, wellness visits and physicals, and support for chronic conditions. AppleCare has extended hours and is staffed with experienced, licensed healthcare providers.

“We are very excited to partner with Memorial Health and are honored by the opportunity to work with their team. We look forward to delivering great healthcare in collaboration with Memorial Health physicians and healthcare professionals,” said Chase Finley, CEO of AppleCare.

“AppleCare has quickly become a major player in the immediate care business in south Georgia, and we are excited about the opportunity to partner with them. They focus exclusively on urgent care, and we believe their experience and expertise in this category will help us better serve our patients,” said Bill Lee, chief strategy officer at Memorial Health.
