Savannah, GA (June 27, 2022) — Memorial Health University Physicians (MHUP) is pleased to announce board-certified internal medicine specialist, Dr. Lauren Wood, will join the Adult Primary Care practice on Paulsen Street.
Lauren Wood, MD, looks forward to providing comprehensive primary care to patients in Savannah and the surrounding areas. “I have always been dedicated to maintaining a healthy lifestyle and focus on achieving overall health to promote longevity for my patients. I find excitement in forming a close partnership with each of my patients to help them to better their current health and ultimately achieve their health goals,” says Wood. She will practice at the MHUP – Adult Primary Care location at 4451 Paulsen Street Savannah, GA 31405 starting July 18.
A Georgia native, Dr. Wood is a Cum Laude graduate from the University of Georgia and is an avid Bulldog fan. She attended medical school at Mercer University School of Medicine at the Savannah campus and knew from that very moment she wanted to make Savannah her permanent home. When not cheering on the Bulldogs, she enjoys cooking, fishing, spending time with her family and meeting new people.
