Memorial Health is pleased to announce Christopher Green has joined the organization as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). As a member of the executive leadership team, he will be responsible for leading financial operations at Memorial Health.
“Chris is an experienced hospital CFO and will be a great addition to our executive leadership team,” said Brad Talbert, Chief Executive Officer of Memorial Health. “His knowledge of healthcare finance will benefit Memorial Health as we grow to serve patients in our region.”
Green most recently served as Chief Financial Officer for HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital, a 350-bed teaching hospital in Brooksville, FL. In this role, he provided executive leadership for accounting, business office/registration, IT, health information management, case management and materials management. He was responsible for the financial management of more than $50 million in capital projects as well as a $100 million tower addition. Prior to joining HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital, he served as CFO at HCA Florida Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness, FL, CFO at North Okaloosa Medical Center in Crestview, FL and CFO at Carolinas Hospital System in Marion, SC. Chris has more than sixteen years of financial accounting experience in a healthcare setting.
Green earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business with concentration in Accounting from Murray State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and is a current member of the Tennessee Society of CPAs as well as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
