Memorial Health hires new heart care specialist

Board-certified Interventional Cardiologist, Dr. Mazen Khalil, is the newest member of our heart care team.

Savannah, GA — Memorial Health welcomes board-certified Interventional Cardiologist, Dr. Mazen Khalil, as the newest member of the facility’s heart care team.

Dr. Khalil is triple board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. He will work alongside the providers at Memorial Health University Physicians — Heart Care to help assess, diagnose and treat common heart care conditions, including hypertension and coronary artery disease.

“I believe every patient deserves the highest level of quality and attention possible,” says Dr. Khalil. “I work diligently to thoroughly understand my patient’s needs and goals, always treating them as if they were my own family.”

Dr. Khalil obtained his medical degree from the American University of Beirut and completed his internship and residency at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He completed a dual fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine and Interventional Cardiology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
