Memorial Health showed up for area students and teachers with its first “We Show Up for Our Schools” event on Wednesday, July 26. Memorial Health leaders and colleagues partnered with the Frank Callen Boys & Girls Club to stuff more than 400 backpacks with school supplies and distribute them to students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. The school supplies were donated by Memorial Health and its parent company, HCA Healthcare.
“The school year starts soon and we hope these backpacks and supplies will help these students start the year off right,” said Bradley S. Talbert, FACHE, Chief Executive Officer of Memorial Health. “We’re proud to partner with the Frank Callen Boys & Girls Club on this back to school event. It’s another example of how Memorial Health and HCA Healthcare show up to support our communities.”
From our local initiatives to HCA Healthcare enterprise-wide partnerships and support around the country, our colleagues are deeply committed to serving and leading in their communities. We show up by partnering with organizations whose missions align with our own, generating an even greater impact on the communities we serve.
