Memorial Health is excited to welcome Ashley Cheek, DO, to our Memorial Health University Physicians Children’s Care practice on August 14, 2023.
Dr. Cheek is a graduate of Memorial Health University Medical Center’s pediatric residency program, where she served as Chief Resident from 2022-2023. She obtained her medical degree from the Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine (CUSOM) in Lillington, NC. Dr. Cheek is an honored recipient of HCA Healthcare’s Care Like Family certificate and previously served as a volunteer for CUSOM’s mentorship program where she provided guidance and support to individuals underrepresented in the field of medicine.
“I take an evidence-based approach to care,” said Dr. Cheek. “I work thoroughly to ensure my patients and their families understand all treatment options and the solutions that support their health goals.” She will provide dedicated care for patients from birth to 18 years old, including sports and school physicals, annual wellness visits as well as treatment for allergies, asthma, cold/flu and sinus infections.
