OB/GYN residency graduates join Memorial Health's Women's Care network

Memorial Health is excited to announce two graduates from the facility’s OB/GYN residency program will continue to provide care in the region.

Dr. Mariah Piazza will see patients at Memorial Health University Physicians Women’s Care’s Pooler location and Dr. Sashia Malone will see patients at Memorial Health University Physicians Women’s Care’s Richmond Hill location.

Both physicians are recent graduates from the hospital’s OB/GYN program — the only OB/GYN residency program in southeast Georgia.  They will provide comprehensive women’s health services, including pregnancy and post-partum care, prenatal testing, gynecology as well as family planning services. 

“We are excited to welcome Dr. Malone and Dr. Piazza to our dedicated women’s health team,” says Dr. Corbi Milligan, Chief Medical Officer for Memorial Health University Medical Center. “With their knowledge for high quality care, we are able to expand our reach and support for our patients in the communities we serve.”

Dr. Malone, originally from Vidalia, GA, completed medical school at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. Dr. Piazza attended Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA.
