Surgery residents are expected to be involved in research activities during their training at Memorial Health University Medical Center. Members of our department of surgical education are frequently published in national journals. Because of the great volume of clinical experience we offer, there are ample research opportunities. Residents are required to complete at least one peer-reviewed publication as principal author. Here are examples of our residents' research.
