Jennifer Claiborne is the Pharmacy Clinical Manager and the PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Program Director. She received her Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy in 2007. She completed a PGY-1 residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center (MHUMC). She received her board certification in pharmacotherapy in 2012. Jennifer is a member of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy, American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, and Georgia Society of Health-System Pharmacist. She is a recipient of the distinguished service award awarded by the MHUMC Internal Medicine Medical Residents.


Jason Lin, Pharm.D.

Clinical manager

Jason Lin is a Clinical Pharmacy Manager. He received his Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy. He then completed a pharmacy practice residency and infectious diseases specialty residency at the James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital. As a former Infectious Diseases preceptor, his interests include the outcomes of antimicrobial use and resistance, antimicrobial stewardship, and antimicrobial pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic optimization.


Ryan Hoffman, Pharm.D., BCOP

Oncology

Ryan Hoffman is a clinical pharmacist specializing in adult oncology. He received his Doctorate of Pharmacy from South University College of Pharmacy. He then completed a PGY-1 residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center.


Audrey Johnson, Pharm.D., BCPS, BCCCP

Critical care

Audrey Johnson is a clinical pharmacist specializing in critical care medicine. She earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from the South Carolina College of Pharmacy in 2014. She completed her PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at NYU Langone Medical Center and went on to complete a PGY-2 residency in critical care at the Medical University of South Carolina. She received her board certification in pharmacotherapy in 2015 and is a member of Society of Critical Care Medicine.


Katherine Jones, PharmD

Director of Pharmacy

Katherine Jones is the Director of Pharmacy at Memorial Health University Medical Center. She received her Doctorate of Pharmacy at the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy. Katherine has over 30 years of experience at Memorial Health that includes medication safety and investigational medications


Stephanie Lesslie, Pharm.D., BCPS, BCCCP

Critical care

Stephanie Lesslie is a clinical pharmacist specializing in critical care medicine. She received her Doctorate of Pharmacy from South Carolina College of Pharmacy in 2013. She completed a pharmacy practice residency at McLeod Regional Medical Center and a critical care specialty residency at Georgia Regents Medical Center/University of Georgia College of Pharmacy. She received her board certification in pharmacotherapy in 2014 and in critical care in 2016. Lesslie is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the Neurocritical Care Society. She is also a reviewer for The Annals of Pharmacotherapy and Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy. Her practice interests include infectious disease, neurology, cardiac arrest management, and clinical research.


Lauren House, Pharm.D.

Pediatrics

Lauren House completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia and earned a Doctorate in Pharmacy from South University School of Pharmacy in 2013. She then went on to complete a pharmacy practice residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center. Upon completion of her residency in 2014, she joined the clinical pharmacy department at Memorial Health University Medical Center where she is currently practicing pediatric/neonatal clinical pharmacy. She is a member of Georgia Society of Health-System Pharmacists (GSHP) and Pediatric Pharmacy Advocacy Group (PPAG). Her practice responsibilities include pediatric and neonatal critical care, pediatric emergency medicine, general pediatric medicine, and pediatric oncology.


Joe Morris, Pharm.D., BCCCP

Emergency medicine

Joe Morris is a clinical pharmacist specializing in emergency medicine. He received his Doctorate of Pharmacy from University of Georgia College of Pharmacy in 2016. Morris completed a pharmacy practice residency and critical care specialty residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center. He is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the Georgia Society of Health-System Pharmacists. His practice interests include cardiac arrest and shock management, infectious diseases, and toxicology.


Karyn Taylor, Pharm.D., BCPPS

Pediatrics

Karyn Taylor is a clinical pharmacist specializing in pediatric critical care at Memorial University Medical Center (MUMC). She is responsible for patients in our pediatric ICU, inpatient oncology, medicine, and surgery units, as well as the pediatric emergency room and outpatient oncology. Taylor has teaching responsibilities that include pharmacy students, nurses, and the pediatric medical team at MUMC. She is a member of the Pediatric Pharmacy Advocacy Group. Taylor received her Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Montana in 2001 and completed her pharmacy practice residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center in 2002.


Peterson Worrell, Pharm.D., BCPS

Internal medicine

Peterson Worrell received his Doctorate of Pharmacy from Mercer University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. He excelled during his residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center and upon completion of his residency he joined the Internal Medicine clinical team. Outside of Internal Medicine, his practice area interests include Emergency Medicine and Psychiatry. When not working, educating residents and students, or familiarizing himself with current literature, he enjoys playing bass guitar with several local bands in the Savannah area.


Stacie Coleman, PharmD, BCPS

Internal medicine

Stacie Coleman is a clinical pharmacist specializing in internal medicine. After earning a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from the University at Buffalo in 2009, she completed a PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at Greenville Hospital System in Greenville, SC. She received her board certification in pharmacotherapy in 2012.


Desiree Ferrel, PharmD, BCPS, BCPPS

Pediatrics/neonatal

Desirée Ferrel completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Nevada and earned a Doctorate in Pharmacy from Chicago State University School of Pharmacy in 2014. She then went on to complete a pharmacy practice residency at Tucson Medical Center. She has been practicing in pediatrics/neonatal pharmacy since 2016 and joined the clinical pharmacy department at Memorial Health University Medical Center in 2019. She is a member of Pediatric Pharmacy Advocacy Group (PPAG). Her practice responsibilities include pediatric and neonatal critical care, pediatric emergency medicine, general pediatric medicine, and pediatric oncology.


Sofiya Sovalska, Pharm.D., BCCCP

Critical care

Sofiya Sovalska is a clinical pharmacist specializing in critical care medicine. She earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston, Massachusetts in 2017. She completed both her PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency and PGY-2 critical care pharmacy residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center. She primarily works with cardiology patients. She is a member of American College of Clinical Pharmacy, Society of Critical Care Medicine, Georgia Society of Health-System Pharmacists, American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, Phi Lambda Sigma, Rho Chi, and Phi Kappa Phi. Her interests include infectious disease, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, and post- surgical management.


Emily Bowers, Pharm.D.

Emily Bowers is a clinical pharmacist specializing in critical care medicine. She received her Doctorate of Pharmacy from South Carolina College of Pharmacy in 2018. She completed a pharmacy practice residency and a critical care specialty residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center. Emily is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the Neurocritical Care Society, and has been published in the Neurocritical Care Journal. Her practice focus is in neurology and has a strong interest in clinical research.


Lacey Ioppolo, Pharm.D., BCCCP

Lacey Ioppolo is a clinical pharmacist specializing in critical care medicine. She received her Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy in 2018. She completed her PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at Baptist Medical Center/Wolfson Children’s Hospital and went on to complete a PGY-2 residency in critical care at Ascension St. Vincent’s in Jacksonville, FL. She received her board certification in critical care in 2020. She is a member of Society of Critical Care Medicine, American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, and Georgia Society of Health-System Pharmacists. Her interests include acute respiratory distress syndrome, antimicrobial stewardship, and clinical research.


Amy Taylor, Pharm.D., BCIDP

Infectious diseases/Critical care medicine

Amy Taylor is a clinical pharmacist specializing in critical care medicine. She earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from the University of Georgia in 2017. After graduation she completed her PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center, and then PGY-2 residency in Infectious Diseases at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. In 2020 she received her board certification in Infectious Diseases. Her practice interests outside of critical care include Gram-negative resistance, and antimicrobial stewardship.


Brandon Morgan, Pharm.D.

Brandon Morgan is a clinical pharmacist specializing in internal medicine. He received his Doctorate of Pharmacy from South University School of Pharmacy in 2020. After graduation, he completed a PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at HCA Florida Putnam Hospital in 2021.


Alisha Terry, Pharm.D.

Alisha Terry is a clinical pharmacist specializing in internal medicine and critical care medicine. She received her Doctorate of Pharmacy from Presbyterian College School of Pharmacy in 2015. She completed her PGY-1 pharmacy residency from St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville Tennessee. Alisha is a member of Society of Critical Care Medicine, American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, and Georgia Society of Health-System Pharmacists. She is a reviewer for Journal of Pharmacy Practice and Journal of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy. Her areas of interest include cardiology, surgical trauma, and emergency medicine.


Ryan Cole, PharmD, BCPS

Assistant Director of Pharmacy

Ryan Cole is the Assistant Director of Pharmacy at Memorial Health University Medical Center. He received his Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy in 2016. (Hotty Toddy!) He completed his pharmacy practice residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center in 2017 and began his career as an Internal Medicine pharmacist at Memorial Health. From 2018-2021, Ryan was the Clinical Operations Manager at Memorial Health. In 2021, he became the Assistant Director of Pharmacy.


Mallory Stringer, PharmD

Critical Care Medicine

Mallory Stringer is a clinical pharmacist specializing in critical care medicine. She earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from Auburn University Harrison College of Pharmacy in 2021. She completed a pharmacy practice residency and a critical care specialty residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center. Mallory is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine and American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. Her practice interests include surgical trauma, neurology, and infectious disease.


John Lam, PharmD

In addition to internal medicine, her clinical interests include oncology and emergency medicine.
