Information and guidance for our patients

We want you to have as much information as possible about the care you'll receive in our hospital and what to expect before, during and after your time with us.

Patient information

We offer many unique programs and services. Patient care services provide you and your family with quick, convenient emergency care, and the emotional, psychological and educational support you need. We appreciate your support in these endeavors as you also take some precautions to safeguard your own well-being.

We want you to understand everything that we are doing for you or your loved one. Be sure to ask what to expect while you or your loved one is in the hospital. If you did not understand the answer to your question, ask the person to explain the answer to you again until you understand. If you have any questions for your doctor or nurse, write them down as you think of them, that way you will not forget. When your doctor or nurse comes to see you refer to your list of questions.

We also ask that you:

  • Be patient as you come in contact with different people who will ask you the same type of questions several times. This is done to provide safe and effective care to every patient who walks through our doors.
  • Bring any past medical records you may have.
  • Let your nurse know if you or your loved one has any special needs, so special considerations can be provided.
  • Do not leave visiting children unattended.
  • Read all signs in the area that you are in. There are areas in the hospital where visitors cannot go into.
  • Wait for a nurse to provide instructions if you here a “code” over the speakers.
